Edelweiss Club offers cave tours in several wild-type but easily accessible caves located near the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. Through this program everyone can touch the unspoilt beauty of the underworld. The adventure includes basic speleo training and can be served as a hike or treasure hunt game.
The program can be held in the following areas:
Lakatnishki skali Park in the Iskar Gorge. Here you can visit Ruzhishka cave and Temna Dupka cave. The connection between the two caves is along a panoramic path, winding through the rocks over the Iskar River.
Caves over Iskrets. The excursion includes a panoramic hike along the Ponor Mountain ridge and a visit to two small but interesting caves. It is possible that this program also includes an adventurous moment like dropping a rappel through a waterfall.
The caves and the rock churches in the karst region of the village of Karlukovo. The program includes visits to little known caves in the area of the popular Prohodna cave. The program can also include climbing, abseiling, kayaking and a visit to the Zlatna Panega eco trail.
Vetrena Dupka cave in Serbia. Very beautiful, wild and easily accessible cave, located 90 km west of Sofia on the territory of Serbia near the Poganov Monastery.
