Panichishte is a small and cozy resort located in the forest zone of the Rila Mountain above the town of Sapareva Banya. The place is a starting point for treks to the Seven Rila Lakes circus and the Skakavitsa. The lowest lake in Rila is located in the region. This natural water pool is a great place for teambuilding activities with boats and rafts at 1,300 meters above sea level.
Panichishte hotel's facilities are easily accessible from Sofia, Blagoevgrad and Dupnitsa. At the same time, hotels offer a good price-quality ratio.
The teambuilding event can cover the meadows, the forest and the lake of Panichishte, where all the elements of an adventure program can take place, including mountain bikes and boat exercises.
We highly recommend Panichishte as a corporate event in the mountain.
The appropriate season for events is from June to September. In July and August the summer days in Panichishte are cool, as opposed to the heat in the valley. During the winter, the resort is also appropriate for teambuilding events, taking place close the hotel base.
Also, Panichishte is an appropriate place for multi-day programs that include a local teambuilding proggam in the resort and a mountain hike to the higher parts of the Rila Mountain.
Sample exercises for a one-day teambuilding program:
”Icebreaking zone”, occurring on a meadow.
A task in a “Mission” format, focused on logic and map orientation by compass in forest.
One, two or three rope activities.
A water task with boats and/or rafts.
The adventure variation of the event may also include Mountain cycling and/or “SPETSNAZ” teambuilding zone.
Programs in Panichishte can also be realized in any other different format than the one mentioned before.
Sample walking routes during the summer and autumn:
Cableway lifting to the Rila Lakes hut + local trek through the seven Rila Lakes.
Cableway lifting to the Rila Lakes hut + panoramic trek through the main ridge of the mountain between the Otovitsa, Razdela and Haramiya peaks.
Trekking in the forest part of the mountain in the area of Skakavitsa hut.
